At the heart of the ‘Portes du Soleil’, discover Châtel, a charming typical village of the Alps. The resort, with its many ski slopes and lifts that straddle the border, offers the originality of being able to ski into Switzerland.
At the hotel: Games and books are available for children. You can store your hired sledges in the ski equipment storage room to guarantee more fun on the slopes. ‘With your house on your back! Like a snail!’. To help you out, ELIOVA has thought of your comfort: we've created a ‘baby space’ with baby bath and changing table. Also available (ask before arrival for availability): high chair, cot, booster seat and bottle warmer. In the restaurant, warming baby bottles and jars can be done with the available microwave oven.

A chalet at the foot of the ski slopes... The hotel ‘L’EAU VIVE’ is located 100m from the Linga ski lifts, which connect to the ‘Portes du Soleil’ ski area. Free shuttles to the centre of the resort. This hotel is particularly recommended for skiers wishing to be accommodated at the foot of the ski lifts. Its warm atmosphere is also relaxing and restful. Ground floor: restaurant, bar with pool table, lounge. On floors 1 and 2, 28 bedrooms with 2, 3 or 4 beds, all equipped with shower and toilet.

Cross-country skiers will love the Vallée d'Abondance and its 57km of trails. 40km of marked trails are also available for lovers of nature, either on foot or by snowshoe. Free shuttles.
